LUMIN




Lumin is my first independently developed Mobile game for the Android platform. The game is inspired by the need for completion and minimalism. All aspects of the game, including its art, sound, design, development, testing and publishing was handled solely by myself.

Developed games for the Slot Machines on existing and new hardware, creating frameworks, state machines, core game play logic while also optimizing for performance, while handling animation, sounds, user interface and other visual aspects of the game

I was responsible for the core gameplay elements and UI design of the game currently under development. The characters possess powers and have different attributes that determine their speed, attack and defence. I also optimized the game build and scripts by using object pooling and handling large images on import.

Lost in a labyrinth, with time running out. There is an entity that has latched onto your scent, but is relishing playing with it's food. Only a torch to aid you, and pieces of chalk to draw on walls. Survive traps, learn spells. But can you survive the maze and escape before the entity claims your life? There are basic movements for the player using the WASD keys. Player can switch between symbols to draw by holding down the Right Mouse Button and scrolling through with the mouse wheel.

RITE OF PASSAGE
Astronauts lose their muscle capacity with the onset of living in a micro-gravity environment. Introducing Ground Zero, a prototype app, with the use of Augmented reality, Astronauts can engage in activities involving more than one person. Ground zero is currently a shoot the 3D target, which is appears on NASA logo when seen through the screen. Players can target the NASA logo which on their vests, or any other physical object, and hit it with a virtual projectile. Each shot amounts to one point, and by the end of the timer, the player with the maximum points wins.
